Advantage to lower Eiswolf 2 pump flow when GPU idle?

The AIO connector on my motherboard has the option to vary the pump flow rate with temperature. Is there any advantage to lowering the flow rate of the Eiswolf 2 pump when the GPU is idle or below a certain temperature? Would doing that extend or shorten the life of the pump? My pump runs at ~2600rpm all the time; seems inefficient if the GPU isn't getting all that hot? Curious if anyone has done this - didn't see anything in an initial forum search. Thanks for your advice!

HI,

we don´t recommend to lower the RPM or voltage on the DC-LT pump. We are always recommending to run the pump with 100% PWM or 12V
