I've experience with your GPX pro product.
First time, many months ago, when I assembled my gfx card with the GPX pro watercooling AIO I by accident left the original thermal pads that came with the Radeon VII on there.
My temps were amazing, 75 degrees Celsius with auto overclock in AMD...
Question regarding the thermal pads, do you have to remove the original thermal pads on the PCB?
I'm not talking about the strip of Hitachi TC-HM03 on the GPU/HBM2 but about the pads on the VRM MOSFETs.

Nooooooooo all the backplate screws are missing!!! They haven't returned to me.
I'm now stuck with a videocard and half assembled aio until you send me the 8 m3x11 backplate screws!

I tried to remove the cover up black stuff and its bare metal under there.
Ha :) your shipment was send to my previous address. I changed my address details in my profile on the website before sending the product to Alphacool and I crossed out my address details from the original receipt I included.
The new residents luckily informed me about it and I can pick it up...
On second thought this gap must be normal else the heatsink would crush the processor/hbm2.
The thermal paste fills the gap hence the unit excluding radiator gets extremely hot.
I rather send it back for Investigation as i actually spent so much time and effort in getting it sorted i rather...
As said, i Heat water but only in the pump. No heat is going to the radiator.
