The technical specifications are well known to me. If you prefer to follow the information found in forums, I won’t stop you — but practical experience from end customers and especially in the server sector tells a very different story and does not reflect those claims at all. In practice, there...
Those are pretty strange requirements. Why does the GPU temperature need to stay under 57°C? What’s the point of that? And this thing about the RAM temperatures is something I’m hearing for the first time as well. Where did you get that information? Because that’s complete nonsense. Of course...
By placing fans between the radiator and the case. An XT45 should generally be run in push & pull; otherwise, its performance will actually be worse than an ST30.
You won’t be able to plug in a connector there anymore. There’s too little space between the acrylic and the header. At least I don’t know of any cable or adapter that would still fit.
With a water cooling system, the fans are usually controlled based on the water temperature. Alternatively, you...
In what way are they not being read correctly? On each controller, you can only read the RPM of a single fan. Your motherboard header can also only read one signal. So, if you connected both controllers together using a Y-cable and then plugged that into a single PWM header on the motherboard...
Melde dich mal bitte direkt beim Support: info@alphacool.com
At the moment, there are no plans for us to release additional coolers for the 9070 series. In fact, I wouldn’t expect any new coolers for the 9070 series to be released at all.
You can’t use the V.2 screw plugs with article number 17468 on this radiator. They are only intended for the HPE radiators. For this radiator, you need the regular, classic screw plugs such as article 17252.
That definitely looks like dirt. But at the moment it’s still far from being a serious issue. If you really want to clean it, you could use the Core Loop Cleaner (article number 13016). But right now, I wouldn’t do anything yet.
The 1 mm pads are 7 W/mK pads (Rise Ultra Soft: 13012), while the 3 mm pads on the back are 3 W/mK pads. However, the 3 mm pads for the backplate have no impact on cooling performance. They only serve to create counterpressure to prevent the PCB from bending too much due to the mounting pressure...
Strange. Yes, the compression rings are hard to screw on, but normally you shouldn’t really need a tool for that. The only explanation I can think of is that the tubing simply doesn’t match the exact dimensions, which makes it extremely tight. Unfortunately, I don’t really have any other ideas...
By “it looks wrong” I meant the picture where the compression ring is sticking out so far.
If all of that is 12.7/7.6 mm TPV tubing, it shouldn’t look like that.
Could you loosen the ring and slide it up? I’d like to see how the tubing sits underneath.
A leak tester is definitely useful. But yes, if the leak tester itself is the problem, it can be very confusing. In general though, it helps to quickly identify issues. Even professionals sometimes forget a stop plug or don’t tighten the fittings properly.
Once the loop is set up and the leak...
