'Gainward Phantom, Phantom GS, Palit GameRock, GameRock OC RTX 3090, 3080 waterblocks'

Can anyone already using a waterblock - send me a PM if they want to sell the original shroud of the 3090 Gamerock to me? The LEDs on mine froze and I wanted to try and replace the LED unit myself.

    Palit Gamerock OC RTX 3080Ti

@Eddy Fair point all the way. Now, can you make an Eiswolf 2 for the gamerock? Kidding ? Thanks man

    Palit Gamerock OC RTX 3080Ti

Hey @Eddy interesting tidbits about consumer behavior for Palit cards there. I guess the reference designs are inferior to the Palit because of the lower power limit (Palit - 420W vs Reference - 350W), but yeah, it was interesting to me that more people watercool them compared to a higher...

    Palit Gamerock OC RTX 3080Ti

@Eddy thanks for spending the time to explain this. I am one of those people who would buy an AIO, but given that I live in an apartment with kids, I don't have the time and space (literally) to start with custom loops - or I would have bought the Gamerock cooler. As for its popularity - yes -...

    Palit Gamerock OC RTX 3080Ti

@Eddy I don't completely follow that logic. Do you mean that the sales of the custom loop blocks are used to fund the production of the Eiswolfs? It's because some customers dread the maintenance of a custom loop and would choose the AIO solution.

@Eddy Will the release of the Eiswolf 2 AIO for the GameRock be at the same day?

Thanks for the official sizes. I do agree with the advice to get a soft 1 mm pad, since 0.75 mm is not easily available. I used Thermal Grizzly minus pad which is expensive but got the job done. I wish some of the pads didn't tear off the first time I disassembled so they do not need to be...

'Gainward Phantom, Phantom GS, Palit GameRock, GameRock OC RTX 3090, 3080 waterblocks'

I had a ton of experience dis- and re-assembling this card to try to cool it better. I would like to share my experience with the pads, since it will also help those trying to attach the water cooling block. The default thermal pad measurements on the PCB are 1 mm for everything, except the...

'Gainward Phantom, Phantom GS, Palit GameRock, GameRock OC RTX 3090, 3080 waterblocks'

That is good to know - I don't have an idea what constitutes a good block as I have never watercooled before, but it's good to know just from the looks that the block I linked was inferior in quality. Sorry for the people I pissed off. I was lurking in this thread because like most of you I am...

Hey guys, somebody beat Alphacool to it: https://hybridcooling-modding.fr/home/224-waterblock-palit-rtx-3090-gamerock.html# I don't intend to take potential orders away from Alphacool but somebody is bound to discover it sooner or later. I am not a hypocrite, I want the best version of the...
