Alphacool Eisbaer 240 expansion

New member

Sorry if this has been answered somewhere already, but I'm completely new to the topic and need to be completely sure.

Current setup:
Case: Sliger Cerberus X
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 3900X
Mobo: Gigabyte X570 Aorus Master
AIO: Alphacool Eisbaer 240
GPU: Gigabyte RTX 2060 Super

Add second radiator (probably 240 mm as 280 is very hard to fit in the case) to the loop. Keep cooling CPU only for now.
When all the new GPUs come out, upgrade GPU and water-cool it by expanding the existing loop.

1 - Is the current pump strong enough for 2 radiators and future cpu-gpu-rad-rad loop? Or would I need to upgrade it at some point too?
2 - Looking at existing (1080Ti / 2080Ti setups), will 2x 240 mm radiator be enough for CPU+GPU cooling?
3 - Do thicker radiators (45 mm) require push-pull or are just 2 fans in push config OK?
Assuming that answers are "yes"- do I need to get anything more than Extension Set and Water (besides the 2nd radiator)?
