Hello!

Just bought this cpu cooler for my new pc, have the Thermaltake Core P3 TG Curved case.
In the manual for vertical mount the presenter shows the reservoir/cabling on the upside as an option. However, the Eisbaer Extreme manual says it must be the other way around, i.e. the reservoir and cabling are on the bottom "in order not to damage the pump".
Can someone please confirm if this is really necessary?

Hi Cyrus,

We would always say that you should follow the manual. This orientation ensures that the pump does not run dry if the fluid levels drop. If the pump runs dry, it will, unfortunately, damage itself as the pump uses the fluid for its own lubrication.
