Hello,

When the Eiswolf for RTX 3080 FE will be available ? Is there something available now that we can use ?
What should I buy if i want to do a custom loop ? Do you have some bundles ?

Thanks,

Good morning,

Eiswolf 2 for RTX 3XXX cards will be available in february 2021. If you want to use a DIY setup, you need this cooler for the RTX 3080FE:

We dont have bundles. You can only put it together with an Eisturm Set. But i would use a set with minimum 240 better 360mm radiator and a VPP755 or DDC310 pump.

Thanks for the feedback, i think i will try the DIY setup, first time for me, any specific advice ? Not sure what i need to buy for all the components (tubes, connections, etc...).
I would prefer to go with a 280mm as i have already the fans, is it good enough ?
I have already an Aurora 360 for my MCU, so i will not connect it to the GPU.

For only a 380FE a 280mm radiator is fine. First question.... is the optic important for you? Because i am personally a big fan of our TPV tubee we are using in our Enterprise systems. Or do you prefere clear tubes? And how much space do you have for the reservoir. Do you want a tube reservoir or is any other reservoir that wokrs fine ok for you?

No, i don't care about the optic, my case is hidden :).
I have a Fractal Meshify 2, so some space availabe (see below).
The 240mm AIO on top will be replaced by the Eisbaer 360 Aurora, my order is still on waiting status on your system, should i cancel it and go for a full custom loop with the CPU included on it ? (order number: 30127129 ) Is it possible to do this ?

For the reservoir i have no idea, i would prefer to go with the best quality, same for the pump. On the Meshify 2, i can install the pump on a Multribracket.

If you are happy with your AIO, you dont need a new one. If you are unhappy with it and if you want to go to a full custom loop, i would also not order the Eisbaer. And yes, i would go for a complete custom loop because you have enough space for it and if optic doesn`t matter... i would choose those parts for everything.

That are all parts you will need:

GPU cooler: https://www.alphacool.com/shop/graf...gpx-n-rtx-3080-founders-edition-mit-backplate

CPU cooler: https://www.alphacool.com/shop/cpu-wasserkuehler/amd/am4-ryzen/
You need one of the normal XPX cooler. Not XP³ and not the Eisbaer Solo stuff. Performance of all XPX coolers are more or less the same (1° differences, dont care about it)

REservoir: https://www.alphacool.com/shop/ausg...tion-ddc-inkl.-alphacool-laing-ddc310?c=20598
Doesnt has the best look, but very easy to use and DDC310 is a good nice pump.

But i would prefere this combination:
Res: https://www.alphacool.com/shop/ausg...r-d5-150mm-acetal-ausgleichsbehaelter?c=20600
Pump: https://www.alphacool.com/shop/pumpen/alphacool-pumpen/17524/alphacool-vpp655-pwm-single-edition
D5 is the best pump on the market. We have VPP655 pumps they are running since 7-8 years without any problems. And you can controll the pump very simple over PWM. Bit more expensive, but its worth the money.

Tube: https://www.alphacool.com/shop/schl...2-7/7-6-black-matte-3-3m-10ft-retailbox-330cm
I am using this tube in all my privat systems and we are using this tube also for all our Enterprise Customers.

Radiators.... for a Custom setup and this case i would use a 360 V2 and 240 V2 radiator.
and

V.2 radiators because of the flat stop plug fittings. Easier for mounting. If you want to save a bit money, choose the normal NexXxoS version, no problem.

Fittings.... you need 2 fittings for each part in your loop. So with this parts you need 10 fittings. I like this fittings a lot:
They are not made by nylon not by brass. We are using them also in all our Enterprise systems. They have a barrier ring for the tube, so they hold the hoses up to a tensile force of 15kg. You will need two 6pcs sets for your loop. We dont sell them as single version right now.

Something that is really nice to have is a drain port. I never use it in my systems because in my eyes its easy to drain the loop if you dissmount the reservoir and you are using tubes. Then you can simply lift the expansion tank and tip it over. That has always worked well for me. Only with HardTubes this is not possible, but in your case it doesn't matter.

And Liquid..... i would use Tec Protect you will need 2 bottles: https://www.alphacool.com/shop/cool...7021/alphacool-tec-protect-ultra-clear-1000ml

Its helpfull to have this to fill the loop: https://www.alphacool.com/shop/rese...-accessories/4577/filling-bottle-1000ml-pe-ld

Ok no problem will do this.
One last question, the Fittings are the same on the radiator and tube sides ? I don't need two kind of Fittings ?
Nothing else to order ?

This is only a help for filling the system. The best way is to unplug the ATX connector from the mainboard, bridging the power supply to start the system without the mainboard. Then you can start the pump with the ON and OFF switch on the power supply and start the pump. Because the computer should not start when you fill the system, because the cooler will not work if there is no water in it.

Other tube: https://www.alphacool.com/shop/tube...8-id-uv-blue-transparent-3m-retailbox?c=20625

But than you need also other fittings. For example this one:
Also available as 6 pack (its cheaper and available in a few days)

Yes, all our fittings have G1/4" threads and they are compatible to all our products. Only fittings you have to be careful are special barbe fittings but thats nothing i would use in a normal Custom loop.
If you choose a 13/10mm tube, you need fittings for 13/10mm tubes. But you can see the size always in the product name.

Looks fine for me. You could now see if it would make sense to use some angled fittings, but basically you can use it like this and build it together. I rarely use angled fittings for systems with tubes.
