Greetings fellow PC and watercooling enthusiasts!

This is my first post here and I want to share my newly finished build that I have named "Icy Veins". This is the second fully watercooled PC that I've built, but first PC with nearly all Alphacool parts for the watercooling components. My first watercooled PC that I built back in 2020 was mainly EKWB parts (but lets not talk about that company for obvious reasons ;)). I am certainly very happy with the quality of Alphacool components (German engineering ftw!).

Specs
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
GPU: MSI RTX 5080 Vanguard Launch Edition
RAM: Corsair Dominator Titanium 64GB
Mobo: Gigabyte X870E AORUS PRO ICE
SSD: Samsung 990 Pro 2TB
Case: Corsair 6500X (White)
PSU: Corsair HX1000i
OS: Windows 11 Pro 64-bit
CPU Block: Alphacool Eisblock XPX Aurora Edge
GPU Block: Alphacool Core RTX 5080 Surpim + Vanguard with backplate
Distro Plate: Alphacool Core Distro Plate 360 Right with VPP Pump
Radiators: 2x Corsair Hydro X Series XR5 360mm
Fans: 6x Lian Li SL-Infinity 120mm
All Alphacool fittings and tubing

Considering how well this PC build went and the quality of Alphacool components, I now have a new go-to company for watercooling

yoooo, congratz very nice looking.
can you tell the cost of all watercooling parts ?
i made some different choices for my very last pc.
about the radiators, i would go with some from bykski, memory stick i would prefer lexar or gskill, power supply asus platinum or ofc seasonic, the video card, nothing more from msi...now using a gainward phantom. but asus rog astral could be better if much more affordable, lol...finally for the case i used a lian li evo xl.
oh and for the cpu, i keep my loyalty to intel. ultra core 7 265k.
oh and the ssd i brang them from lexar, nm790 series.
fans from thermaltake swan ex.

keep up your good work, take care, cya.

I still remember the days when the PC case was much bigger than the monitor. My first monitor was a 14" CRT sitting next to an old-school big tower that was as tall as my desk. And today... screens — massive screens everywhere.

Thank you!

All of the watercooling parts was approximately $1100-$1200 USD, which includes the CPU block, GPU block, Distro plate, radiators, fittings, tubing, coolant, etc.

As far as brand loyalty, nothing wrong with that but I personally don't have any strong attachment to any brand and just choose whatever offers the best performance for the price.

I also use the bottom monitor for work, since I work from home, and it is actually extremely useful since I can have VMware (running a Linux VM) occupy two-thirds of the screen with a web browser, documentation, or a chat app on the other one-third of the screen. But yea I agree that monitors have gotten massive along with multiple monitors becoming normal. I remember having to de-gauss those old CRT monitors
