Hello,
I'm planning on changing my 13mm OD soft tubes to 16mm OD hard tubes. I worry that the new fittings might be too large and be blocked by the fans. At Reddit the user nolo_me sent a picture where the fan had to be slightly carved to make room for the fitting.
I measured that the current fitting has a 20mm diameter and there is about a 2mm gap between the fitting and the fan. This radiator is the Alphacool Monsta 120mm radiator.
In the product description at https://shop.alphacool.com/en/shop/...ession-fitting-g1/4-knurled-deep-black?c=1564 it says that the diameter of the Alphacool Eiszapfen 16mm HardTube compression fitting is 21mm. It is the same as for the 13mm version.
21mm diameter should fit fine. I'm a bit skeptical about the product description though. Can somebody please confirm that this particular fitting is indeed only 21mm in diameter?
