If you only ordered the block you'll be below the £150 limit for import duty/VAT. I ordered several bits (about £300 worth) and mine is sat 1.2 miles away at the Royal Mail local depot waiting for me to pay the duty but the card I need hasn't arrived yet :(

I ordered mine at 10:14 GMT (Order 30137587) today along with a bunch of other bits and I also noticed the 19% VAT - I live in the UK and will therefore be charged: 1) 19% EU VAT 2) +20% UK VAT 3) +Import duty :( It would be nice to have the EU VAT refunded but I'm just so glad this is finally...

You can buy in 10 days time... that gives you 13 days for it to arrive and still be "this month" :)

This. Alphacool is listening to it's customers in many different ways, including this fairly niche block and being open and transparent alongside creating great products. The least we can do is repay that by buying Alphacool (and get the best products going into the bargin!). #ThanksAlphaCool...

The title of thread certainly suggests so to me! Some googling of the PCBs also shows these cards (in thread title) are not the FE or Reference PCB which is why they need a different block. Layouts look similar to Reference but component height (VRMs etc) looks different (just guessing here).
