I have a zotac rtx 5080 solid core oc, it had incredible coilwhine above 300watt. last week i finally bought the waterblock from alphacool for this card, i used upsiren utp-8 instead of the pads coming with the block and i now have virtually 0 coilwhine. I would say the thermal putty helps...
