So far I have 1mm pads on the vram’s and 2mm on all the other stuff that needed pads. I tried 2mm on the vram but then the gpu won’t touch the block. I have received the block ? and are ready to install it on a Gainward Phantom 3090 GS tomorrow (when my wife have left the building ?) Will post pictures of the PCB for Alphacool/Eddy if that’s interesting?

Will the Gamerock cooler fit the 3090 Phantom GS? Think the PCB is the same but would be nice to get a confirmation that the cooler will fit both cards.

I have a Gainward Phantom GS 3090 and took a thermal image showing clearly the hotspots from the memory chips. I used a cooler master cpu heat sink and just added some thermal paste and placed it on back of the card. The MJT dropped 10 degree Celsius after this. Still the 3 fans are quite busy...
