Alphacool Laing DDC310 defective

Hello,
I bought Laing DDC310 as a component of Hurricane complete set.

It was working well one year, and I need to replace it because it begins to fail at start, first delay the start some seconds, later minutes and finally never starts run.
The second one, has same behaviour some months later

There something wrong with this pumps? Before this ones, I had 6 years a simple Laing DC-LT without any problem..

Another question.. what is the difference between black or blue pumps? Only the colour?

Laing (Xylem) has chanching a few smaller things on the pump design. All DDC and D5 pumps on the market from all brands are Laing/Xylem pumps.
You can always have bad luck with the pumps. As a rule, they run for many years without problems. If your pump broke, it wasn't because of a general problem, but because you were simply unlucky. Start an RMA and exchange the pump.

The blue is better than the black? Or it's only a colour? Do you know?

Only the color, nothingelse. It only has a bit different electronic that should make the pump a bit more quiet. But i would say, in my feeling, there is no difference that you will really hear.
