Any good technique to clean these hazy/dirty spots on GPU waterblock between nickel and acrylic?

Hi,

I've recently got Aurora waterblock for the GPU. It had slight residue inside so I've decided to clean it and that cleaned fine. However, what I noticed after the reassembly few spots formed where I believe the water doesn't flow, it's just acrylic sitting on coldplate. It's the outer area around the block. Any technique that would help me to get this perfect?

Hi @kubko

You mean the streaks on the screws, right?
The radiator is chrome-plated, so a chrome paste without abrasive particles should/could be suitable for polishing. But I'm saying this without guaranteeing whether it would work. Chrome parts in the tool/automotive sector may have a different or more heavily coated finish depending on the wear and tear than the radiator, which isn't exposed to wind, weather or chemicals.

Best Regards
