Core 4090 TUF waterblock - no coil cooling

Hi,

I would like to ask why Core 4090 TUF does not have coils cooled? Other Core 4090 waterblocks seem to have thermopads there.

HI,

coils don´t need to be cooled and shouldn´t be cooled to avoid the annoying coil whine. Therefore we don´t place any thermal pads there.

Then why you cool the coils on other 4090 cards? I mean the ones other than Asus.

We don´t cool any coils with a water block.

This is not true when it comes to your RTX3000 blocks. The coils were cooled there.

We had only one cooler with thermal pads on the coils, but they was not there for "cooling". Only for protection and against coil whining.
