Hi there,
So I will be installing my first custom hardline loop,
i already got the Eisbaer Aurora 280 AiO cause i found a good deal,
I also have an Eisfach 5.25 Dual bayres with a D5 655 pump and a 755 pump spare
the radiators i will be using:
1x280 from the Eisbaer (top)
1x Nexxos 35 140mm (rear)
1x Nexxos 200mm (front)
cooling:
5900X CPU
980Ti GPU EVGA Block (Will be upgraded later to 3070 or 3080 when available)
The question is, will it be okay to run both the Block/Pump Combo and the D5 in the same loop
or would it be safer to get a separate block for the CPU?
can the Eisbaer Aurora work as a block only without using the pump or will that impede the flow?
the issue is cost saving here, if both can work then i can save almost 100 USD on the CPU block.
but if spending the extra will help avoid issues in the future then I'll get a stand alone block for the CPU.
thanks in advance for any tips and advice.
cheers.
