Hello all,

First time posting but I just bought a new waterblock for my 5090 gpu and wanted to paint the backplate, inlet/outlet and the rgb bottom bracket white. How does one remove the inlet/outlet from the block? My block is the Alphacool Core Geforce RTX 5090 Gaming + Windforce with Backplate. Thanks in advance

You can’t remove the inlets, meaning the threaded parts. Doing so would irreversibly destroy the seal.
To disassemble the terminal, you first need to remove the logo cover on the front. You have to carefully pry it out using a very fine, extremely thin flathead screwdriver. It is glued in place. After that, you can also pry the plastic cover apart from the side; it is only clipped together. That’s all there is to it.
