Item reservation while placing order

Hi Eddy,

Yesterday I placed an order (30197994) and I specifically selected items that were in stock (according to the web shop). Looking now at the items that I ordered, some of them are out of stock. Are items reserved when placing the order or is my order now waiting for items to be restocked?

I just took a look at your order — all items are currently reserved for you. So at the moment, there’s nothing in your order that isn’t set aside specifically for you. Of course, this doesn’t completely rule out the possibility of a stock discrepancy, but from what I can see, everything looks good.

Thank you for the update and good to know the reservation systems works :)
Just for my information, what happens when there is a stock discrepancy? I will be contacted or informed with an update of the missing item(s)?
