ITX Loop - Single 280mm Radiator - ST (30mm) with 4 Fans? or XT (45mm) with 2 Fans?

Hello

I am looking to create a loop in an ITX size case (one i have built myself).

It will be cooling both CPU + GPU

(using EITHER a DC-LT 2600 + Eisstation 40 DC-LT Reservoir -OR- DDC Pump + ES Reservoir 1U DDC Version)

I have deliberately left enough room to mount a 280mm radiator, and enough space for EITHER configuration:

[1] a 280mm ST (30mm thick) Radiator with 4 x 140mm Fans (Push AND Pull) (total thickness 27+30+27=84mm)

OR

[2]
a 280mm XT (45mm thick) Radiator with 2 x 140mm Fans (Push (OR Pull) (total thickness 27+45=72mm)

The Fin Density on both the ST and XT is 15 according to the website.

My question is, which will perform better [1] or [2]?

Thank you

The temperature difference between the two radiators are not much really. You would get maybe 1° or 2° degrees (push/pull) better performance with the XT45.
