[Support Request] Received Incorrect Eiswolf 2 AIO Water Block – RTX 4080 Strix

Dear Alphacool Support Team,


I recently purchased the Alphacool Eiswolf 2 AIO - 360mm RTX 4080 Strix (Article Number: 13531) for my ASUS TUF Gaming NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER Overclock 16GB GDDR6X (TUF-RTX4080S-O16G-GAMING). However, I have encountered an issue where the water block I received does not fit my GPU.


Issue Details:


  • The mounting holes do not align with my GPU’s PCB.
  • The HDMI ports do not sit correctly, preventing proper installation.
  • The block is too short for my GPU’s PCB layout.
  • The water block is labeled "4080 FE", which suggests it was designed for the Founders Edition, not the RTX 4080 Strix variant I ordered.

Actions Taken So Far:


  1. Contacted Alphacool support via email and provided all requested images (PCB, cooler, acrylic section, copper base, and labels).
"Dear Mr Kesterson,

Sorry to hear that you're having an issue with the cooler.

Could you please send us pictures of the PCB of your graphics card? Additionally, we would need pictures of the cooler and the sticker. For the cooler, please provide one picture of the acrylic part and one of the copper base. This will help us determine whether the sticker or the cooler itself is incorrect.

The PCB images will also allow us to check if Asus has changed the layout. This information would be very helpful in assisting you further.

I need a picture of the top of the cooler so that I can verify exactly which cooler has arrived. I need to see the acrylic part and the water flow of the cooling block. This will tell me exactly which model the Eiswolf is for. I already mentioned in the first email that this picture is required. Can you send me this please?

I got it in about a week, but I paid the most almost $100 USD to have it expedited and shipped fast. So much for that. but this has dragged on for three weeks. Now it says "Delivery date exceeded" on the website so who knows?

This is definitely the cooler for the Founders Edition, not the cooler for the Strix. Something was completely mislabeled. Send in the cooler and request an exchange.
