To long tubes - Eisbaer GPX extension

Is it possible to cut the tubes and reuse the included GPX Extension fittings or do i need to buy new fittings?

I got an answer, that it is possible to shorten the tubes and reuse the existing fittings. Also can I use 11,2/8mm (5/16"ID) tube with the fittings and quick connector
So it will also be the case if i need some of the tubes to be longer.

The connection and tubing size is G1/4 to 11/8 mm. So if you keep the size it should be not a problem at all
