Do I have the wrong block?

Hello!

I recently purchased an AIO setup for my GIGABYTE RTX 2080 Ti WindForce OC (GV-N208TWF3OC-11GC).

The product I purchased is: Alphacool Eiswolf 240 GPX Pro Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080/2080Ti - black M07. I only now realized it was the M07 model, and looking through your page I assume the M02 would be correct for my card. Is it so, is the M07 an incompatible block for my Gigabyte card?

I cannot return the purchase unfortunately, it's still on its way but I only found the AIO for the 2080ti from the US, and the company won't accept overseas returns. So I guess I might be in a bit of trouble with this.

Can I use the M07 on my Gigabyte maybe with some modifications? What are the differences? Or, is there another block/backplate I could purchase that is compatible with the radiator/pump in the AIO, and the Gigabyte card?

Hi, the cooler of the M07 model does not fit your card.
But you're in luck!
We still have the custom cooler for your card on offer. (see link)

- 1x coolant (Apex Liquid ECO 1000ml clear, Alphacool Tec Protect 2 Clear 1000ml)
- 1x connectors as a replacement in case the tube path does not fit (Alphacool HF compression Fitting TPV - 12,7/7,6mm Straight)

... and patience when filling! It will be tricky without an expansion tank!

And then, could you maybe link to some instructions on filling it? I do have plenty of patience, but would still greatly appreciate info on how about to approach the procedure. There is a reason why I originally got an AIO unit, but it's not as much about being afraid of touching liquids, just ease of plug and play. Obviously that's not the case anymore but I'm fine with that

Patience because you don't really have possibilities (FillPorts) to fill up the loop. The best possible variant is to order the Alphacool Eisstation DC80 - AIO Power Unit additionally. This can be easily integrated with the help of the quick-release fasteners and enables you to fill it easily! Absolutely advisable for later maintenance!

I'm now looking at pictures of the Eiswolf I ordered, and it looks to me like the pump is actually ON the cooler itself, whereas the blocks shown here are just blocks, with a pump somewhere else? Can I somehow connect the pump to the blocks shown in the links in this thread?

Otherwise, the only chance is to use your existing parts to make a custom loop.

Do you know, is the pump unit on this Eiswolf capable of working in similar manner to a NeXXXos GPX Pro Solo? It looks like the same pump. I see there is a separate backplate for sale for the GPX Pro Solo, but not sure about the mounting. I could probably cool the memory modules with heatsinks, there is already two fans blowing directly to the card in my case.

Just use one of the coolers already mentioned in combination with the Eisstation DC80 AIO Power Unit & another Extension Set.The DC80 contains the DC-LT2 pump, which is installed in all our AIOs anyway. So you can use radiator & fan & get a respectable result comparable to our AIOs.

Alright. Indeed it seems a bit on the flaky side.

I'll consider this still. I still have the option to cool with air, with a - I'm not sure if I'm allowed to mention competitors here - powerful aftermarket air cooler that my work partner happens to have uselessly lying around, so I might end up trying to sell the AIO without even opening the box to retain max value in reselling. Honestly I just want a better cooling for the card than the very bad Windforce cooling, with which the fans starts blowing like a fighter plane every two minutes.

Anyway, thanks for all your help on this! It's a 300eur blow for now, but maybe I can bring it down a bit with reselling
