I add a question, does this WBs shows the PCB when viewing them from the front?

I would not like to see the PCB if possible.

All coolers are supplied with pre-cut thermal pads for installation. You can also simply take a look at the instructions linked in the store. All accessories are listed there, for all products.
The sides, i.e. the PCB itself, are not covered. The PCB is therefore always visible on the coolers.

thanks for the answer.
is there some photos of the front of the waterblock?
I would like to see how it looks when mounted horizontally in the "standard position".

I don't like to use riser on PCIe5 cards.

I don't have any corresponding pictures to hand. No one has ever asked me for them. But there are now some pictures and videos of the 5XXX coolers on the net. Just google it.

Because there are an incredible number of issues. There isn’t a single manufacturer that officially sells riser cables for PCIe. The brands that purchase these cables may claim otherwise, but the actual manufacturers do not confirm this.

@Eddy may I ask you why AlphaCool choosed to leave the PCB uncovered?
the RTX4000 WB fully cover the PCB and you can't see it.

it's very very ugly how it looks on the RTX5000 WBs.

We used to have a cooler that covered the side, but it was largely uninteresting to customers and only made the cooler more expensive. The feedback that customers were bothered by the exposed side was almost nonexistent.
For this reason, we no longer include it. It simply wasn’t worth it, and very few people were actually interested in it.
A simple reason: if we were to cover the side, the cooler would likely be around 10€ more expensive.

I would have paid even 50€ more for that cover :(

Pricing is one of the most important marketing tools available. 200€ is a psychological barrier—going beyond it leads to a drop in sales. Why do you think prices like 9.98€ instead of 10€ exist?

There have been countless studies and A/B tests conducted over the past 50 years that confirm this. Finding the right price point is more important than the most expensive marketing campaigns.

that's fair but WBs for 5090's are for people that should not consider 10€ a barrier.
I mean, most of that cards are mounted on a 10K computer but ok, I understand your point, thanks for the answer.

I'm using riser with 5.0 cable and rtx 5090. It's working normal.
