Dear Alphacool Team,
I'm planning a high-performance build and seek your expertise in selecting the appropriate water cooling components from your catalog. Here's my setup:
  • Motherboard: ASUS Pro WS WRX80E-SAGE SE WIFI II
  • CPU: AMD Threadripper Pro 3955WX
  • Memory: 8x DDR4-3200 DIMMs (dual-sided, standard modules without heat spreaders)
  • GPUs: 7x Palit GeForce RTX 3090 GameRock
  • Storage: 2x HP FX900 Plus NVMe SSDs
  • Case: Alphacool Carbon Case
While I am not a specialist in water cooling, I do have extensive experience assembling workstations of this level. Given the system’s peak power consumption of approximately 3000W, I require a comprehensive water cooling solution.

Preferences & Request

  • Transparent (acrylic) water blocks with lighting for both the CPU and memory.
  • A full list of recommended components, including quantities and direct linksto your shop, covering:
    • Water blocks for CPU, GPUs, and memory
    • Radiators suitable for dissipating the total heat output
    • Pumps and reservoirs
    • Fittings, tubing, and necessary accessories
    • Any additional components essential for optimal performance and beauty))
If the person assisting me has any uncertainties regarding product selection, feel free to suggest components at your discretion—I will be able to review the list and refine it accordingly based on your recommendations.
I appreciate your assistance and look forward to your recommendations.

Best regards, Gena

Hi, how exactly are you planning to power this? You need 21 8 pin lines, its a single PSU case and I have never seen a PSU with anywhere near that much capability, (might have missed it i guess) you also do not have room for all those cards, each takes two slots, even with replacing the coolers and cutting down the connection plates you are looking at back to back fitting with no room to connect the cards, you have space to fit 3, in itself pretty pointless as SLI is dead and has been for years, unless this is for mining or AI?

Hello! Yes, this is for an AI setup. I plan to power it using a custom HP server PSU rated at 3 kW, with 24x 8-pin connectors wired. Obviously, this is an external power supply.

And yes, I’ve already checked—the thickness of this non-standard cooling solution is 25 mm, which is clearly larger than a single PCI slot (fortunately, PCI risers and a 3D printer are available to build a custom case). Right now, I’m refining the idea, and the request for help with the full cooling setup is still relevant. Thanks!
