Request kind advice for making a loop of an RTX4080 only

Hey there :)

Since the set for the RTX 4080 Strix is EOL and will not be available anymore, I'm looking into making it from "scratch" as this one seems to still be made :

So, based on this GPU cooling model, what should I buy (pump, radiator, everything else) to have a complete set ?
I had always used AiO systems, so "soft" tubes would be better than hardened ones 😅

Radiator can be a 360mm wide (up to 45mm height), with 3 or 6 vents (anything that can make a silent and efficient build 😊).

At best, if I can get two proposal (one that will be "entry budget" and one for "maximum efficiency/performance") that would be nice.

Thanks to anyone that can help me 😉

Well I'm no expert but think that the following should/would do the trick... Considering the GPU water block...

Alphacool Ice Compartment - Single Laing D5 - Dual 5.25 Bay Station -> reservoir

Alphacool VPP655 - PWM - Single Edition -> pump

Alphacool Eisdecke D5 attachment - Black Acetal G1/4 - (VPP755/VPP655/TPP644/MCP655) V.3 -> pump top

Alphacool NexXxoS ST30 Full Copper 360mm Radiator x2 -> radiators

Alphacool Apex Stealth Metal Fan 2000rpm Matt Black (120x120x25mm) -> solid fan (not best) x6 or x12 (if you're going with push-pull setup)

then you need tubing... 1/2" ID 5/8" outer lets say...

Alphacool tube AlphaTube TPV 16/10 - Black Matte 3,3m (10ft) Retailbox or similar

also fittings... something like...

Alphacool Eiszapfen 16/10mm screw-on nozzle G1/4 - Deep Black Sixpack

you have gpu->radiator->radiator->pump so you need what 8 of those at least i'd say... maybe some other angled fittings if you need it for your loop
and i don't know flush-out valve or what not...

and coolant ...

Alphacool Apex Liquid ECO 1000ml clear -> x1

1 liter should suffice for this setup probably but just to be sure i'd take 2 of those for flexibility...

That should/would do the trick in it's basic form hehe...
Like I said I'm no pro so be advised not to take it literally.
Have fun with your setup!

Two radiators, isn't it too much for this kind of setup or I'm missing the point ? (for better water cooling performance, as the loop will be longer, and keeping the vents at lower speed ?) :D

Anyways, thanks for those tips, I'll take a closer look at it later :)

Yeah, two radiators might be little over the top :D but anyway, take one radiator away and You're good, right? :D

ofc if you want silent work, go for some other fans (can't name them here i think)... but the D5 pump should be VERY able to pump through two radiators i think.

and yes, the loop will be longer, but with the kind of water flow the pump is giving i doubt it would be an issue. as always me<-not_a_pro :D

I was thinking more of an industrial setup hehehe.... but yeah, you should be good with either... go with transparent tubes then, and take some anodized colorful fittings, and colored coolant and what not... the notion is just on basic functionality in fact. :)

good luck and have fun with your setup!
