could i please get an update on my order for a waterblock ("Alphacool Core RX 9070 XT Red Devil mit Backplate" / Artikelnr.: 14781), ordered on the 26th of May?

The order number is #30201153.

I am mainly looking for a guesstimate for when it will be shipped.

The current status is that the next delivery of the cooler will take place in about 6 weeks. I can’t guarantee whether any units will arrive before then. But what I can say for sure is that nothing will be delivered to the main warehouse within the next 4 weeks — and this also applies to your order.
We’re still significantly behind on AMD coolers, and also on some NVIDIA models. Overall availability is only slowly improving for certain models, as demand remains extremely high.
Sorry — at the moment, a lot of patience is unfortunately required when it comes to GPU coolers.

I'll just wait in patience until the next delivery of the cooler, no need to be sorry - I believe most of us know that there is a high demand for your products at the moment (and that quality takes time to produce).

Earlier you replied to a thread regarding the Red Devil stating that all existing pre-orders would be fulfilled by two upcoming shipments with the second shipment expected to arrive mid to late July. Now you are saying no shipments are expected for at least four weeks? What happened to those shipments?

That was my thread and this is making me feel rather pissed too, either the second delivery alluded to has failed to arrive and has been pushed back weeks or they don't know their arse from their elbow. I'm getting some Kickstarter vibes here personally. Interestingly my local (Australian) importer for Alphacool, OC Gear, who only put the Red Devil block on their website about a week after I ordered from Alphacool direct have stated all along on the product page "delivery expected mid September". If Barrow who have finally put something up on Aliexpress were to release a Red Devil block I'd be tempted to jump ship.

The contradiction of the statements and never ending uncertainty, paired with poor communication is disappointing and unacceptable for a company with AC's background. The lack of proactivity is baffeling as the whole debacle must impact their reputation. Understandably the circumstances are unusual, however that excuse feels a bit spent at this point in time. It does not help instilling confidence in the brand which is a shame since I have no doubts that the actual hardware is top notch - sadly I can not recommend anyone to order from AC until their situation improves.

I do not have much experience with Barrow but the little I do have is phenomenal. I have been using some of their products in my various loop iterations since 2018. Flowmeters, temperature probes, fittings - all seem to be well-made, high quality pieces and I have not experienced any issues using them so far. If they release a block for the Red Devil it would be very tempting indeed.
