Eiswolf 2 Block Build up

Hey all. I purchased an Eiswolf 2 about a year ago, but haven't had the chance to install it.

As I go to install it today, I noticed buildup in the acrylic block.

There appears to be some white (grime?) buildup, with some brown spotting on some parts.

Based off these pictures, should I just power the block on and cycle it for a bit, or should I begin ordering some cleaner and prep for disassembly?

As I understand, its cleaner + distilled water, then a refill with coolant.


Please let me know! I appreciate your time. Any advice is appreciated. Apart from this, everything else is in great shape.

The coolant remained in the AIO for too long. It needs to be completely drained and flushed.
These are no longer just simple deposits; this is already close to the point where the coatings start to get affected. If coolant remains stagnant in an AIO for too long, the fluid can “go bad.” I’m not sure if that expression makes sense in English, but I can’t think of a better one.

Does this appear to be unusable damage, or should I just clean the block, refill, and use until she dies?

I don’t see any damage yet. Flushing should be enough. If the residue inside does not come loose, use a cleaning kit, such as item 13016. Alternatively, you can use a coffee machine cleaner based purely on citric acid.

Let the cooler “soak” with it for a while and then rinse it thoroughly again with distilled water, so that no residue remains inside. Afterwards, please use a ready-made coolant mixture for filling. Distilled water is completely unsuitable for a cooling loop.
