This setup worked for me on a Phantom 3090 GS
On the GPU side I used 1mm on all components except on the LR22 chips, here I used 2mm. I have checked if the 1mm on the vram is compressed or not and I believe it’s a tiny pressure on it. See picture and evaluate if it’s pushed down or not. All...
So far I have 1mm pads on the vram’s and 2mm on all the other stuff that needed pads. I tried 2mm on the vram but then the gpu won’t touch the block. I think for the Phantom 3090 a 1,5mm on the vram would be perfect. I’ll get that tomorrow, don’t dare to power on as I suspect the 1mm are just to...

Will the Gamerock cooler fit the 3090 Phantom GS?
Think the PCB is the same but would be nice to get a confirmation that the cooler will fit both cards.
I have a Gainward Phantom GS 3090 and took a thermal image showing clearly the hotspots from the memory chips. I used a cooler master cpu heat sink and just added some thermal paste and placed it on back of the card. The MJT dropped 10 degree Celsius after this. Still the 3 fans are quite busy...
