You might want to check this about the Shadow, even if MSI confirmed to me it shares the same PCB as the Ventus...

P.S.: I've tried two different 5080 Shadows BTW.
As I said I would update this, here we go..
Well, support via the ticket was not helpful at all, which honestly I would not expect that. I'm not asking for a "personalised support experience" but no intent to sort the issue was shown apart from "you can use 1.5mm pads", which if any of my emails...
That's a typo, I meant "to the email provided", I've corrected it.
Course, no modification was done. A lot of thinking yes but I couldn't get to a consensus about what's wrong.
Once I get an answer from the ticket I'll update this.
No. All four around the core don't make contact. Measuring the height will be difficult, I don't plan on opening it up again before hearing from alphacool. Yes all spacers were removed.
Hope that helps
Hey @Eddy hope you are well.
I did open a ticked and also posted here afterwards.
No modifications were made. The card was warped so I took apart and then I needed to use diferente thermal pads(1mm as well)/putty as the original ones were not usable anymore.
I'm going to send the pictures I...

However, there's a issue. The pcb warps once the block is installed.
If the nut standoff makes contact with the pcb, as per...
Yep, I also believe the same. However that's @Alphacool to sort not me, as they have the card listed as compatible with the block.
I've never had any other block but Bykski, about 5 of them along the last 6-7 years. When I decide to spend 80GBP more in a block, is a half baked one.. :p
AFAIK, there's only one type of Shadow, which share the same PCB of the Ventus. Before purchasing the block I've compared pictures and pulled the trigger in the 10248 reference block. It fits, and it works, even before Alphacool put it in the compatibility list.
HOWEVER, or I am unlucky (have...
Hi all, I've got a setup with a XT45 1260mm and I will be adding a second one then I wondered about the inlet and the outlet of the rad. Does it matter? Is there a optimal port to be used as inlet and outlet?
TIA
