Nope, never gotten a response.
And my block reached the point were I'm better of throwing it away :
-Rubber is so distorted and warped (even flattened) you need to cut away small pieces if you want to put it back in place : else it starts blocking the intake port
- the rubber is horribly sticky...
As promised, here are a couple of photos of the rubber gasket.
Just assembled the Core 1 again, and it's close to impossible to correctly place the gasket on the coldplate if it's in this form.
It's close to fully blocking the inlet.
Since august this year (so just a couple of months) I've bin using the Alphacool Core 1 CPU block on my AMD 7950X3D
Last week, there was no flow what so ever in the cooling loop : nothing.
As it turned out, the Core 1 CPU block was fully clogged with rubber snippets, which seemd to be coming...
If this has bin asked before : I'm sorry.
I have a Inno3D RTX 3090 Frostbite Ichill watercooled GPU : https://www.inno3d.com/en/PRODUCT_INNO3D_GEFORCE_RTX_3090_ICHILL_FROSTBITE
At the moment I;m using a MP5Works backplate cooler, yet I would like to use a active watercooled backplate.
