11667 Eisblock GPX-n 2080ti M01 misses thermal pads for many elements on the card

I am installing my first GPU full cover block and got a question regarding thermal pad coverage. After removing original cooler from my card I couldn't help, but notice how much less thermal pads there are in alphacool cooler comparing to the stock cooler. I then went and checked other full cover GPU blocks and they have thermal pads for all elements original cooler had.

Why does Alphacool block miss so many thermal pads? I have some spare pads from original cooler is it safe to use them or I should stick to instructions?

We only cover components that really need cooling. All other components are irrelevant and do not require active cooling. Mostly, these parts are only covered to give the cooler more stability. It is also often done to give customers a better feeling, as very few customers really know which components need cooling and which do not. Placebo effect.
