Hi all,

I was browsing Amazon and I came across this product!

Alphacool 18415 - Amazon

I wondered if I would be able to replace the tubes on my Alphacool Eiswolf 2 AIO - 360mm RTX 3080/3090 with these. Whilst it isn't majorly important and I wasn't browsing Amazon loooking for them it would look very nice in my system! I will probably not be in the position to get a 4090 (and tbh I don't need one) so I will stick my with 3090 but hey I may aswell make it look as nice as possible.

I am not really in a position that I would be able to do a full custom loop, financially there are just much more pressing things in life atm.

On a secondary note, as and when finances allow I would like to get a Alphacool Eisbaer Pro HPE Aurora 360 CPU AIO from what I can see I can run that together with my GPU AIO and so if I could replace the tubes in both that would be really nice.

Thank you in advance for your advice, I appreciate the time taken to reply to me.

Hi,
you can disassemble both AIOs and replace the hoses. However, it is important that you bear the following in mind. The connections on the AIOs do not fit with this hose, so you will also need new connections so that the hose fits. It should also be clear that you will lose the warranty on both products if you disassemble them.

HI,

all of our AIO´s from the Eisbaer and Eiswolf Serie are completely modular and you can replace the existing fittings and tubes. Please note, that such a modifikation will void our offered warranty.
If you want to use the linked tube, you will need 13/10mm fittings and the tube.

Firstly sorry for my slow reply, I assumed I'd get a email notifying me of a reply, but I thought I would check anyway.

Thank you very much for the reply. The only way I could get the AIO at the time anyway was used so I don't have the luxory of a warrenty. This was also a thought when I was considering replacing thinking at least I knew it was reconditioned if you like.

So it would work if I brought those fittings and that tubing, thats fab. The only thing I did notice was one or two of the screws holding the perspex together was rounded off so I couldn't clean the fins of the cooling plate before I put it together. Would there be a replacment set of screws I could buy whilst it would be difficult to get it apart I know this could be done but I wouldn't be able to get it tight again so I ignored it.

I do appreciate that it's more of a pre-purchase help forum. Whilst hopefully I can find a cheap used CPU AIO, sooner. It may well be that I wait till probably November time and just buy the Eisbaer Pro from yourselves new. But hey I guess thats part of the fun of building your own PC's over time you work with what you have on hand rather than just the best of the best from Day 1.

Thanks again!

Chris.

Hi,

if you write a mail to info@alphacool.com, we can check if we have the needed screw on stock and if we can send it to you as a gesture of goodwill. A photo, where you mark which screw you will need exactly and which model you are using can also helpful to find the correct screw.
