3090 FE waterblock backplate suggestion

I started to install the alphacool 3090 FE waterblock today into my SFF build.

One problem I quickly realized is that the backplate pushes right to the edge of the PCI-E slot, which, on an ITX board, means that it's right up to the edge of M.2 heatsink, and the shroud over back I/O area.

Because the screws on the backplate are not countersunk, they ended up conflicting with the heatsink and the shroud, so I had to remove those. See picture:PXL_20210301_045000427.jpg

Also, this is pretty much the same pattern for most of the current gen ITX boards (at least the B550 and X570 ones I looked at).

It'll be nice if the backplate and screws are countersunk so that the card with waterblock can stay flush.

Just wanted to give an update here for posterity:
I was getting all ready to machine down the screw hole to be countersunk... And I noticed that they are countersunk to begin with!

It's basically the screws that are wrong... To be clear, there are 5 holes on the backplate, and 4 are countersunk and 1 is regular. To make the card fit snug, really only the 2 holes near the bottom needs to be countersunk.

So what I ended up doing is to buy some M2×10mm countersunk screws off Amazon, and they fit perfectly!

May I then suggest Alphacool include 4x countersunk screws for those countersunk holes on the backplate?
