5090 Gigabyte Block Inlet and Outlet question

Hi,

Finally received my 5090 block, very impressed with build quality. I have installed the 5090 into block and put into my system which has a vertical GPU holder. I have a EK X11D reservoir and the inlet and outlet are the wrong way around the the block. I want to know if it will be ok if I have the inlet and outlet the wrong way around ? Will this still work or will performance be terrible ?

I'm not really bothered with overclocking ect, I only really watercool as a hobby and for the lower sound.

I'll just reply back to my own question then. I tested out with the inlet and outlet reversed. Block is a total beast. I was getting 75 degrees off Cyberpunk for an hour on the original air cooling. Ive ran Cyberpunk for an hour with the block and its sitting steady at 55 degrees. Thats a 20 degrees improvement. To say im impressed is an understatement. This blows away the EK block I had on my 4090. At these temps I can probably run my fans on lowest settings with room to spare. Good job Alphacool. You will be my go to in future for GPU blocks. Was extremely impressed with the build quality as well. Instructions not as good as EK tho. Had to work out dismantling original air cooling on my own but no bigger, done this a while now. Only thing I was confused about was I thought this came with rgb but just seems to have port for strip and argb control. Maybe I purchased the wrong one. Anyone have any tips on how to add rgb ?

The cooler has aRGB via a JST connector, and the package normally includes an adapter so it can be connected to a standard controller. It seems that the adapter is missing in your case? It would be this one:
