Alpacool Eiswand Maintenance/Flushing

Hello,

I have two of the Eiswands and I have some maintenance questions:

1. Are the radiators made of copper or copper+brass?
2. Do you ship them pre-flushed and cleaned?
3. Since this is the time to do some maintenance, what flushing/cleaning method would you suggest? Is Mayhem line of products recommended, or should I use something else?

Hi,

1. Made of copper... but the threads for the fittings are made of brass because pure copper is too weak for threads.
2. They are preflushed, but you always need to flush them again if you get them.
3. Destilled water..... shake it a bit... than its done.

Thank you for the reply. One quick followup question:

• Will Mayhem's Cleaning Kit #1 and/or #2 do any damage to the radiator/pump/fittings?

No, you can use the Mayhem Cleaning kit. They are well. But normaly you dont need it if you buy a new radiator. The cleaning kits are working well. Bu you only have to do this with parts that were used in a water circuit with colored liquid. Because than you have a lots of particle everywhere.
