With Alphacool Apex Distro Plate North XL D5/DDC installed, one rad 45mm in front and one rad on top, May I ask if I can use T30 fan with a 45mm radiator on top? If not, I should use a 25mm fan instead of 30mm fan? It doesnt mention how much space there

From the mounting space for the radiator to the distro plate, you have a maximum of 65 mm. At that point, however, you’re already resting against the distro plate. That’s why I wouldn’t go over a total of 60 mm, since the fans will need a bit of clearance. Otherwise, you’ll end up with very unpleasant noises. So, a 30 mm radiator combined with a 25 or 30 mm thick fan would be the ideal solution here. You won’t be able to fit a 45 mm radiator with fans in this setup.

The 65 mm are measured directly from the top of the distro plate to the radiator mounting plate. There can be a tolerance of 1–2 mm here as well. And of course, you don’t want the radiator resting directly on the distro plate. So, I’d calculate with a maximum of 60 mm. That way, depending on the tolerance, you’ll have about 3–5 mm of clearance to the distro plate.

Oh, I really can’t say. I don’t know what the graphics team installed there, and unfortunately, they don’t remember either. I suspect it was an ST30, as a rule, they usually use ST30 radiators for such setups.
