Alphacool Core 1 with Contact Frame Intel LGA 1700

Hi Everyone,

I bought the Alphacool Core 1 aurora to use with my LGA 1700 I7 13700K with Thermalright contact frame installed.

Can I use the Core 1 with the Thermalright contact frame? Is anyone using this configuration?

Hi,

the water block has been designed to be used with the original ILM. WE can´t say, if the water block will correctly fit the CPU and have enough pressure, if using a contact frame.

In case anyone else has this question... Yes, the the TR and Thermal Grizzly LGA 1700 contact frame works great with the Alphacool Core1. I have it running on my delidded 14900ks with stock IHS.

I chose to use the stock ILM screws rather than the included set that come with the frame as they are shorter, and have plenty of distance from the backplate. Amazing temps!
