Hello everyone,

I currently have the MSI GeForce RTX 5080 16G SUPRIM SOC, and I am considering purchasing the Alphacool Core GeForce RTX 5080 Suprim for a custom loop in a Lian Li A3 mATX case.

However, I am concerned about the width, which is 161.03 mm. I am unsure if it will fit, as this makes it 11 mm wider than my current GPU, which measures approximately 150 mm in width.

Additionally, I noticed in the compatibility list that the support is specified for the model with the bracket (MS-V531 VER:2.0). Is it possible that my SUPRIM 5080 could have a different version, such as 1.0, and therefore might not be compatible? If so, how can I verify this? I would like to avoid disassembling the GPU. Is there another way to verify the PCB version or compatibility?

Thanks in advance

I can’t tell you whether the cooler will fit into your case. There are over 4,000 different cases on the market, and we obviously do not test them all—that would be far too much to expect.

We can only confirm compatibility for the graphics cards that we have actually tested. Therefore, I cannot say whether the V1.0 is also compatible. If we receive new information, we update our compatibility lists immediately. If it’s not listed there, it has not been verified.

Without having seen the PCB—meaning without the air cooler installed—we unfortunately cannot confirm anything. We would need clear pictures of the bare PCB. That said, I’m not even aware that a V1.0 version was ever released to the market.
