Alphacool Eiskoffer Silicon Insert Issues

I purchased an Alphacool Eiskoffer set to use for bending some Alphacool 13/10mm acrylic tubing. The silicon insert is impossible to fit into the acrylic tubing. What are some steps I can take to make this easier? If not I will be returning this, which is super disappointing. Thanks.
