Alphacool ES Jet LGA 4677 2U and Threadripper 7000 series

[FabrizioF]

Hello,

I'm building an Asus pro ws trx50-sage wifi + threadripper 7970x PC. I was wandering if the Alphacool ES Jet LGA 4677 2U + Alphacool ES Mounting Kit EPYC SP5 (LGA 6096) may be compatible.

Are AMD SP5 and sTR5 sockets compatible from the waterblock point of view?

Thanks!

Hi, because your CPU and mainboard use the socket: sTR5 and our Alphacool ES Jet LGA 4677 2U are only compatible with SP5 sockets, the assembly is unfortunately not possible.

Could you clarify if there are any compatible cooling solutions for the sTR5 socket?

HI,

all of our water blocks, which are from the Pro Series, are compatible with the sTR5 socket as also shown in our Shop. As example:

13084 Alphacool Eisblock XPX Pro Aurora - Full Brass Black Digital RGB

XPX Aurora Pro CPU Messing Wasserkühler für AMD & Intel Sockel, Kühlerboden aus vernickeltem Kupfer, mit aRGB LEDs
