Alphacool LT Solo Pump Block plate color

Hi there,

I was lucky enough to get my hands on the LT solo pump block a few days ago but I immediately noticed that the plate color is not copper-ish.

Here how it should look like (based on the official website):

Any reason for this? And does it make any difference?

It makes no difference. We changed only the cooling plate fom copper to nickle plated copper and we changed the screws to some better ones. Pure copper can tarnish over time, if it is nickel plated this cannot happen. That was the reason for the change.

I mean this looks better. I was just wondering what difference does it make to cooling performance if any. Thank you

There is not much difference really it is just for the look.
