Do I need a particular software to use this?
I would like to use it with common monitoring software like HWinfo if that possible.

Im guessing...
After integrating sensor into loop, plugging the 2-pin connector into motherboard and Turning on the PC,
Windows should then detect the device and install the driver?
After all that, the Temperature Sensor should appear in HWinfo software?

No, it 's just a dumb sensor. It needs hardware like modern motherboards or Aquacomputer devices with a temperature sensor input.

Windows is not really gonna do anything with the temperature sensor.

Yes, HW Info will detect the signal coming from the sensor.

You'll have to use a tool (best one around imo is Fan Control : https://github.com/Rem0o/FanControl.Releases/releases ) to use this signal in regulating your fans/pump.

Like what @Pampersfinn12 said, you'll need a motherboard that have temperature input sensor pins.

I wanted to get the sensor you mentioned, but my ITX board doesn't have an input for it ... and I don't want to spend more in a Aquacomputer board.
