Alphacool VPP Apex Pump and just distilled water

On the product page its asking to use clear fluids. I only ever use distilled water only with no additives. This is a newer type pump it looks like. I only have experience with D5 pumps. Can I just use only distilled water or does it need an actual clear coolant.

Hi, you can use distilled water as long as everything is made of copper or everything is made of aluminium. If you have installed other metals in your system, you should use corrosion protection. For example, we use distilled water with 30% glycols in our AIOs.
