Alphacool VPP655 - single edition

Hi, i have an Alphacool VPP655 with the dual bay 5.25 reservoir since a few years now, and i found yesterday that there was no flow anymore, but the pump is still running at good rpm. Is it possible that the pumps work without producing any flow ?

Sure, maybe you have something blocked? Maybe dirt has accumulated somewhere in the circuit, usually in the radiator fins, and is obstructing the flow.

An easy solution.... no. You have to drain everything and to flush the loop with destilled water. I would flush it with a reverse flow to clean the cooling fins.

Hi, thanks for your advice, i have flushed everything, cleaned as i could all the pieces (the alphacool 5.25 reservoir was stuck in the bay, i couldnt get it out ...) I have retubed all the loop with new tubes, and everything is fine now much better to have 45°c than 100 °c
I think that the flow was stuck in the cpu waterblock...
