Hello, for a couple of days some marks appeared on the side of the block between the plexi glass and metal which weren t there a month ago when I installed the block. Should I be concerned of a leakage? Is this a defect? Thanks!

That is not a liquid you’ve marked there. It looks like dust that has settled in a very unusual way. I can’t tell you how it got there, but it’s definitely not a fluid leak — that would look completely different.

Thanks for your answer. It is strange because the block is relatively new and it suddenly appeared there, I swear it wasn t there in the first place. So it is not something that affects the block functionality besides aestetics, right? Because everything is ok, the temps are very good and I have no issues. I just don t want to risk the card!

As I said, that’s not liquid, it’s dust. How it got there, I can’t tell you. No idea, but it’s definitely strange. But what kind of liquid are you using? I’ve never seen anything so milky before. To me, it looks anything but normal.

Okay, I wasn’t familiar with that liquid. I was just surprised that it’s so milky, which means it contains an incredible number of particles. If the system is left unused for a longer period, for example during a vacation, quite a lot of sediment will build up — at least in my experience with such liquids.

I understand, thanks for letting me know this. It is the forst time I use it and it was reccomended by a friend who helped me build the system. He has been using it for 3 years and is very satisfied with it.

As I said, I don’t have specific experience with this liquid. As long as the system doesn’t sit unused for, say, two weeks during a vacation, nothing is likely to happen. Sometimes the deposits even dissolve again. It’s always hard to say. Personally, I’m just not a fan of this type of liquid — and generally not of colored liquids at all, no matter the manufacturer. I’m always very critical in that regard.
