Aurora vs. Aurora Pro for Ryzen 5000?

Hi,

does the larger cooler area of the Pro increase heat transfer from Ryzen 5000 (specifically, a 5950X)?

Thanks!

Hi, the differences are not particularly large. If you have an Eisbaer AIO, the change to a Pro variant is not worth it.

Thanks for your reply. "not particularly large", did anyone compare this in an otherwise identical system? I'm deciding on which one to get. Assuming the aurora and aurora pro are using same fans, are we talking snake-oil <1 deg difference or more like "5deg but it doesn't matter anyways"? The latter would matter to me. :)

Hard to compare it exactly because it depends on the CPU, airflow, what kind of rpm you like to reach (silent or not silent) and so on. But i would not say more than 1-2° with the same radiator size and the "same fans". But Eisbaer Pro has much better fans included than the normal Eisbaer. If you put the Alphacool Rise fans on a normal Eisbaer Aurora, you will increase the performance also at same rpm.
