Bad seal on eisblock after cleaning

I unfortunately had to disassemble my eisblock for what I believed to be a biological growth (top img). I'm not so sure anymore as I found the metal plate over the GPU to be pocked and corroded. I was using Corsair pre-mix. Drained the loop and switched to DP Ultra. However, I had no choice but to disassble the eisblock to clean it out and now I'm unable to get the seal on the block again. Is there a torque serting for the screws in the acrylic plate? I don't want to crack it, but I'm clearly not getting it tight enough.

Any advice?

TIA

Hi,

where you start to tighzten the screws is up to you. Did you check if the O-Ring is sitting correctly. Since you are also using coloured liquid, it can also be that there are some colour particles on the O-Ring, which are preventing that the O-Ring is sealing proberly.
