Coolant comparison

Hello,

I am going to flush my coolant which is currently Tec Protec (original formula). I see that this coolant is not easily available and has been replace by version 2. I also noticed that there is a new APEX Liquid Eco.

What is the difference between APEX Liquid Eco and Tec Protect 2? Are they intended for different systems and does one have a longer lifespan than the other?

Also, do I have to completely flush out the old Tec protect before I switch to these new coolants, or is minor mixing OK?
I have an Eisbaer Extreme and will be just draining and filling all the fluid after switching out the CPU block.

Thank you,

Juan

The only difference between ECO and Tec Protect 2 is that some of the ingredients in the Apex ECO version are 100% biodegradable. The ingredients are therefore slightly different.

The lifespan of both liquids is identical and they can also be mixed. You can also mix them with the first Tec Protect, that's no problem.
