It would appear that the RGB strip inside my Core 1 LT has somehow failed after a year. I can still chain other devices onto it afterwards such as the GPU block, so this leads me to believe it is a failure in the strip itself and not the wire.
I would like to fix this as painless as possible, so my thought was to disassemble the block and replace the RGB strip. Looking at this teardown, it appears to have 15 LED modules on it.
So the question comes what will be the optimal strip to put in? I believe that this would make the 20cm Aurora strip the best option for a replacement. From the picture, I count 16 LED modules, and I should be able to remove one to match it. Is this an accurate assessment?
