I have an Asus rog strix b550-f gaming wifi-II motherboard (which is an am4) and i would like to use the Apex 1 cooler on it because i think it's the best looking cooler.
So would it be possible to use the apex1 on it ? And if yes, what aditional things should i buy to make it possible ?

Sorry, but the Apex 1 does not work properly on AM4. The AM5 socket with the CPU is 0.5 mm taller than AM4. The standoffs of the Apex are precisely designed to create optimal mounting pressure on AM5. On AM4, you would not have sufficient mounting pressure for optimal cooling performance.
With the Core 1 coolers, this is not an issue, even though they also use fixed standoffs. In that case, the mounting pressure is additionally generated by the mounting frame itself, which flexes slightly. That makes them compatible with both AM4 and AM5.
However, this does not work with the Apex 1. You will be able to mount it, but the cooling performance will not be particularly good. 0.5 mm may not sound like much, but it actually makes a significant difference when it comes to mounting pressure.
